Grownby is a CSA purchasing platform website and app that allows customer more tools and flexibility for managing their CSA subscription. What is in a share?
Each week CSA subscribers will pickup a bag of fresh produce with 8-12 different Items.
As an example a typical June bag from last season consisted of:
1/2 pound bag of salad mix, one bunch of radishes, a bunch of kale, 3 heads of broccoli, 1 pint cherry tomatoes, one bunch of carrots, one pint of sugar snap peas, and summer squash.
New for the 2023 season the farm will be growing Strawberries, more beautiful cut flowers, leeks, and pumpkins! These will not be regular items in the CSA but will be occasional additions throughout the csa to provide our customers with more variety.
How long is the season?
Our full season CSA that will run from June 1st to October 14th.
You can now sign up for a half share 10 week CSA! This is a perfect option for singles or small households. Instead of picking up your share every week you will pick up on every other week. Half shares cost $350 for the 10 week season with two pickup options, the Arrowood Farm Brewery on Thursdays or The Kingston Farmers Market on Saturdays. Select your desired option when purchasing.
How much does it cost?
Similar to other subscription type meal services, customers prepay for a 20 week season at a rate of $35 per week.
Full season shares are offered at $35/week or $700/share.
For those that would like to pay in installments, we require a deposit to secure your spot and remainder of the payment is due before the first pickup in June. If you have any questions feel free to send them to transgenerationalfarm@gmail.com.
